How to shape / build a custom windsurf board

Yes. This is quite heavy for a first topic of the "How to" section of boardsNwheels. However, it is in our opinion, the ultimate project. A project usually so far out of reach, that we don't even dare to dream about it! And as every hobby, every sport, every "game" is inextricably linked to that part of ourselves that still dares to dream, we introduce this article hoping to achieve just that. Even if we never get our fingers on sand paper, at least lets dream…

To the point: Is it doable? Is it difficult? How much time and money does it require? What kind of tools am I going to need? Will it plane? Will it endure? Is it worth it? We have answers to those questions but we will not reveal them. Because such rational questions don't belong in a dream!

In the (many and tiring) pages that follow, we present some - in our opinion - useful information about the preparation needed for this project and we point out some of the basic traps. Those who read it until the end will notice however, that few information strictly on the construction method is given. And that's because giving a detailed account would be like waking someone up at the best part of their dream. If however, you encounter any problems in the process, we will be glad to help.
